American Mission Hospital has successfully completed the First NHRA approved IV Cannulation and Venepuncture course.
Course commenced at 07.30 am on 16.03.2017.
Dr George Cheriyan (CEO) guest speaker gave a welcoming speech to the audience followed by seven professional speakers from American Mission Hospital.
Eleven health care professionals attended the course. This included Nurses, Doctors, and Allied health.
In order to comply with new regulations set out by NHRA, theoretical and practical demonstrations were held, followed by calculation test with hands on demonstration for cannulation and venepuncture.
The course successfully completed by 15.30 hrs. NHRA approved certificates were presented to the participants by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ms Julia Tovey.

AMH holds “AMH’s got Talent” themed Staff Party 2016
The American Mission Hospital held their Annual staff party at Ramee Grand Hotel on Thursday the 15th of December 2016 to honor more than 500 staff for their hard work. Dr. George Cheriyan, AMH Chief Medical Officer/CEO distributed special awards during the party recognizing departments and individuals who were considered the highest achieving employees of the year 2016. The evening boasted of several entertaining programs put together by the staff of the hospital. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three winning performances.
